The Attorney General’s Department provides an online searchable list of all Commonwealth Registered Celebrants. This includes:
- Registered Marriage Celebrants
- Registered Religious Marriage Celebrants
- Ministers of Religion that are from a recognised denomination
- State and Territory Officers
Commonwealth registered and religious celebrants are managed by the Attorney General’s Department. Ministers of religion and State and Territory Officers are managed by Births, Deaths and Marriages in their state or territory.
The list is provided in alphabetical form by state and territory. It includes a name, registration date, status, address, phone numbers, email address and style of ceremony.
An advanced search is available with several options to narrow down the results. These include first and last name, city, state, postcode, denomination, authorised dates and database type.
