The Department of Justice publishes judgements and decisions of New South Wales courts and tribunals online. This includes both civil and criminal cases across all courts in the state.

There are several ways you can choose to view the decisions. You may browse by case type, court or tribunal, year and case name. A simple keyword search is also available which enable you to search for a name.

Caselaw offers an advanced search for when you need to filter down results. This includes free text which searches all of the decision, case name, before, catchwords, party names, file number, selected courts and tribunals, decision date and more. Search tips on site can provide you with additional parameters.

Results are displayed as the case name, year and file number as well as catchwords. Selecting a decision will display the full text. This goes into great detail and provides an overview of all facets of the decision.
