Ahpra is the culmination of 15 different health related boards in Australia covering 700,000 health practitioners. A search of registered practitioners is available online.

You may conduct a search by family and given names, registration number and health profession as well as location.

Results provide the practitioner’s name, profession, registration number, principal place of practice, registration expiry and registration type. It also includes any endorsements, notations, conditions, undertakings and reprimands. You may also view a profile of each practitioner which goes into additional detail. This includes qualifications, sex and languages spoken.

There are two additional registers available through Ahpra. One covers practitioners that have been cancelled and/or prohibited from practising. The other is a list of practitioners that have given an undertaking not to practice.
