Vanish is an acronym for the Victorian Adoption Network for Information and Self Help. They are government funded and provide services to the post adoption community including search and support. Services are provided free of charge to those where the adoption or out of home care took place in Victoria. Other regions of Australia can also access the services for a small fee.

Vanish can assist you in searching for your birth relatives and provide support during the process. Help can be provided through applications for adoption records through to information about the rights of parties involved.

The organisation also hosts support groups for adoptees, mixed adoption persons and donor conceived. These are held in Melbourne and throughout regional Victoria.
